Opposing Views is an American website where experts debate topics ranging from autism and child care to abortion and capital punishment. It was founded by Internet entrepreneur Russell Fine. Among its strongest proponents has been tech guru Andrew Keen, who described the site as "convincing proof that Web 2.0's cult of amateur content is rapidly going out of fashion" and that "the internet's new 'new thing' is expertise." However I have gotten upset at the small minority of obsessive and abusive users. Its a shame that they can ruin a great debate. Fine disagree with me about any point. Sometimes that debates makes me shift my point of view. But we shouldn't get personal about any comment or question on here. I think a lot of people hide behind their annonymity on here. We can rush in and make our point in a way we would never do in the real world. I've done it myself once on here and hurt someone by putting my point across in an unfeeling way.
