why do most apparel producers sell directly to retail stores rather than through wholesalers?

A. a. No; advertising costs could in fact rise with direct retail-store distribution. b. No; distribution costs definitely go up with direct retail-store marketing. c. No; this is a trick answer if buyers mean end consumers. d. Yes; my observation is agreeable with this statement. e. Possibly, but not necessarily. So your answer should be d. "the pace of most fashion apparel is too fast to allow for intermediaries".

Buisness help, re:sunglasses mailing??
Q. i need to mail out sunglasses to customers from my wholesale point to there retail point in bulk, ( 24 units) does anyone know of what packageing is best to use for these items which are not in a hard case, only soft for distribution australia wide? And contact details/web sites if possible, im willing to buy packageing from overseas also if it is cost effective but would prefer australian products for ease of sourceing, and i dont want to use australia post!!!
